The following are frequently asked questions broken into three categories:
-
How much space do I need? You can train effectively on a TOCA touch trainer in as little as a 20'x10' space. The more space you add to that, the more excersize options you have. The sweet spot for one person training is 20'x30', and 30'x40' for multiple people training.
-
Can more than one person train at a time? While one of the benefits of renting a TOCA is the ability to train on your own for a super-intense touch session, there are several multi-player excersizes that will accomodate several players at once, with some having players rotate through a course and others where players serve as an additional pass within an excersize, or in playing defense. This makes TOCA a great addition to team practice nights, where groups of boys, whether from one team or several teams in a practice evening, can rotate through a TOCA session.
-
What does the TOCA app allow me to do?You could say the TOCA Training App is where all the magic happens. By controlling the Touch Trainer via Bluetooth, you can adjust speed, trajectory, an angle of delivery, and frequency. With this app, you can keep track of your stats every time you train. It’s available on the App Store and Google Play.
-
Where are the best places to train? You can train on any dry surface, indoors or outside, whether its your yard, a driveway, a basketball, tennis or raquetball court, a grass field or even your garage if you've got the room! When its raining, if you're short on indoor space there are several places in and around Charlotte that allow you to rent indoor space by the hour, some even with turf floors.
